Get a life
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Get a life is a sarcastic way to tell someone to stop interfering in other people’s business and focus on their own life.
I love Christmas and all the traditions the season brings. Growing up, we didn’t spend much time watching movies but when I got married, one of my husband’s family traditions was to watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” so of course I indulged this routine every year but I was usually busy doing something else while watching.
But one year was different. I actually sat and paid attention to the details and the message behind the plot of the movie. Simply put, George who is the main character, repeatedly finds himself in situations dictating the trajectory of his life rather than him deciding his own course.
This film reveals the reality of how we as individuals have the power to positively impact others in our life and how important each of us are to God. As believers, we’ve all been given a purpose. A purpose to share the good news about a baby who was born in a stable who came to give up His life so all will have eternal life.
